These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to your use of the PooFreeCo website and the services we provide. PooFreeCo (“we,” “us,” “our”) provides pet waste removal and yard care services in Sarasota and Manatee County, Florida. By using our website, requesting a quote, or signing up for service, you agree to these Terms.

Our services

We offer weekly, biweekly, and one-time pet waste removal for homes and businesses, along with yard deodorizing and other add-on services listed on our website. The services, schedule, and price for your property are confirmed in your quote.

Quotes

Quotes are based on the information you give us, such as the number of dogs, yard size, and service frequency. If the details turn out to be different when we arrive, for example more dogs or a larger yard than described, we may adjust your price. We’ll always let you know before any change takes effect.

No contracts

Our recurring services have no long-term contracts. You can pause or cancel your service at any time with no cancellation fee. Please let us know before your next scheduled visit so we can update your schedule.

Access to your yard

To provide service, we need safe access to your yard on your scheduled day. You agree to:

  • Make sure gates are unlocked or give us the access details we need
  • Keep pets that may be aggressive or anxious indoors or secured during our visits
  • Let us know about anything that could affect our service or our team’s safety, such as a new pet, a broken gate latch, or construction in the yard

If we can’t access your yard or it isn’t safe to work, we may skip that visit. We’ll let you know if this happens.

Gate photos and notifications

After each visit, we send a photo of your closed gate for your peace of mind. We’ll also text you before we arrive and email you when the job is done. We close and latch gates after every visit, but we aren’t responsible for gates that are opened by others after we leave or that don’t latch properly because of wear or damage.

Weather and scheduling

We service yards in most weather. If severe weather, such as a storm, lightning, or flooding, makes it unsafe to work, we may reschedule your visit. We’ll contact you if your service day changes.

Payments

Payment details, including how and when you’re billed, are shown in your quote and in your customer portal. You can set up automatic payments and view or download your invoices in the portal. If a payment fails or is past due, we may pause service until the account is up to date.

Satisfaction guarantee

If you’re not satisfied with a service visit, contact us and we’ll make it right. Please reach out within 24 hours of the visit so we can come back and take care of it.

Text messaging terms

By opting in on our forms, you agree to receive text messages from PooFreeCo.

  • Non-marketing messages include quote follow-ups, appointment reminders, arrival notices, service updates, and account or billing messages.
  • Marketing messages, only if you separately opt in, include offers and promotions.
  • Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
  • Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time. You’ll receive one final message confirming you’ve been unsubscribed.
  • Reply HELP for help, or call us at 941-260-1636.
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • Agreeing to receive texts is not a condition of purchasing our services.

Limitation of liability

We take care to do our work safely and respectfully. To the extent allowed by law, PooFreeCo is not responsible for:

  • Pre-existing damage to your lawn, landscaping, fences, or gates
  • Illness or injury to pets that is not caused by our negligence
  • Pets getting out of a yard through a gate opened by others, a faulty latch, or a gap in fencing
  • Delays or missed visits caused by weather, lack of access, or circumstances outside our control

If we’re found responsible for a loss, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service visit in question.

Website use

The content on our website, including text, photos, and logos, belongs to PooFreeCo and may not be copied or used without our permission. We try to keep our website accurate and up to date, but information may change without notice.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continuing to use our services after an update means you accept the new Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
